Effective date: 06 May 2026
MTBPS, also known as Mountain Bike Park Service, is operated by RESOAuth Ltd, a company based in the United Kingdom.
By using MTBPS, creating an account, submitting content, or completing an MTBPS survey, you agree to these terms.
1. About MTBPS
MTBPS helps people discover, review and share information about mountain bike parks, riding locations, events and related services.
MTBPS is provided for general information and community use. We do our best to keep information useful and accurate, but we cannot guarantee that all park, trail, event, facility, opening time, price or access information is complete, current or correct.
You should always check directly with the relevant bike park, organiser or landowner before travelling, riding or making a booking.
2. Accounts
You may need an account to use some parts of MTBPS.
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for anything done through your account.
You must provide accurate information and must not pretend to be someone else.
We may suspend or remove accounts that misuse MTBPS, breach these terms, or create risk for MTBPS, other users, parks or the wider community.
3. User content
You may be able to submit reviews, comments, messages, feedback, photos, park information or other content.
You remain responsible for what you submit.
You must not submit content that is unlawful, abusive, misleading, spammy, discriminatory, threatening, defamatory, invasive of privacy, or that infringes someone else’s rights.
By submitting content to MTBPS, you give RESOAuth Ltd permission to host, display, edit, moderate, remove, reproduce and use that content for the purpose of running, improving and promoting MTBPS.
We may remove or edit content at any time, especially where it appears inaccurate, harmful, abusive, commercially misleading or out of date.
4. Riding and safety
Mountain biking can be dangerous.
MTBPS does not assess whether a trail, park, feature, event or route is safe or suitable for you.
You are responsible for your own decisions, equipment, ability, insurance, behaviour and safety. Always ride within your limits and follow local rules, signage and instructions.
5. Events, parks and third parties
MTBPS may include information about bike parks, events, organisers, shops, services, memberships, rewards or merchandise.
Unless clearly stated otherwise, those third-party services are not operated by MTBPS.
We are not responsible for third-party websites, services, prices, bookings, cancellations, access rules, injuries, losses or disputes.
6. Research, surveys and feedback
From time to time, MTBPS may invite users and members of the mountain bike community to provide feedback, complete surveys, test ideas or take part in user research.
Your participation is voluntary.
We may use survey responses, feedback and research submissions to understand user needs, improve MTBPS, develop new services, assess demand, shape pricing, improve park and event features, and support future product decisions.
We may quote or summarise feedback publicly, but we will not intentionally identify you without your permission.
You must not submit false, abusive, duplicate, automated or misleading responses.
7. Survey rewards and vouchers
MTBPS may offer rewards, vouchers, stickers or similar incentives for selected surveys or research activities.
Registering interest does not guarantee participation or receipt of a reward. MTBPS may select people from those who register interest to help ensure a range of demographics, experiences and perspectives are represented.
Eligible completed submissions may receive one Amazon voucher, subject to availability. Vouchers are limited and will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis unless MTBPS states otherwise.
One voucher is available per person, per research activity, unless MTBPS states otherwise.
MTBPS may withhold vouchers or rewards for incomplete, duplicate, false, automated, abusive or suspicious submissions.
Vouchers may take 2-3 working days to arrive. Stickers, where offered, may take 1-2 weeks to arrive.
MTBPS may update, pause, withdraw or close a survey or reward offer where necessary, including where all available rewards have been claimed.
8. Age
MTBPS is intended for people aged 13 and over.
If you are 16 or under, you must have permission from a parent or guardian before creating an account, submitting personal information, taking part in surveys, or claiming rewards.
We may ask for confirmation of parent or guardian consent where appropriate.
9. Acceptable use
You must not misuse MTBPS.
This includes trying to access accounts or systems without permission, scraping the service, sending spam, uploading malware, abusing other users, interfering with the site, or using MTBPS for unlawful purposes.
10. Intellectual property
MTBPS, including its name, branding, design, software and original content, belongs to RESOAuth Ltd or its licensors.
You may use MTBPS for personal and community purposes, but you must not copy, sell, resell, reverse engineer or exploit the service without permission.
11. Availability and changes
MTBPS is still developing and may change over time.
We may add, remove, pause or change features at any time.
We do not guarantee that MTBPS will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free.
12. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, MTBPS and RESOAuth Ltd are not responsible for indirect loss, loss of profit, loss of data, loss of opportunity, travel costs, riding injuries, third-party actions, or decisions you make based on information found on MTBPS.
13. Privacy
Our use of personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.
You should read it before using MTBPS or taking part in surveys.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time.
The latest version will be posted on MTBPS. If you continue using MTBPS after the terms are updated, the updated terms will apply.
